Re-branding my Blog

So you may have noticed that I was on a very long hiatus. I apologize to those of you who enjoy reading my posts. I became extremely busy with school and RA training, along with balancing my social life. It’s been a lot for me to take on these past couple of months. But, that was then. I am now setting time aside to write new posts twice a week. I enjoy writing and I love having it as a creative outlet. It feels weird for me not to write. I also got to thinking about my blog after a Skype session in my Marketing Yourself class. One of my teacher’s previous students went on to work in New York and is doing well for himself. I asked him what I could do about my blog, saying that it was practically extinct. He told me to bring it back to life since it’s something I enjoy.

I changed my blog name to “all things anna kathleen” and I now have a domain name I’m super excited about this development! The name makes sense to me because it’s fun, catchy and easy to read. It’s all about things that I enjoy writing about. I tend to write about a variety of things from health/wellness to love life stuff and even my favorite face masks. There’s no limit to what I’ll do next. I don’t want to put myself in a particular box. Also, my logo is new – I’m so excited to debut it. I’m a Creative Marketer – as it states. My work involves brand management and social media marketing.

This blog is a place where I can express myself and have fun. I want to make others feel happy after they read a post of mine. I want it to read like you’re talking to your best friend. I will do the best I can to create relevant and fun content. If you have any suggestions for me, feel free to leave a comment below. I’m at a great point in my life right now. I’m currently a junior marketing major at Columbia College Chicago. I’m inspired by my creative classmates and working with live clients. It’s really cool to get that hands-on experience. I’m writing this in my dorm room, cozy with a super fuzzy blanket. I can’t wait to see what the future holds. It used to scare me, but I’m ready to face it one day at a time.
